Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) Skill Development Cell and GJIMT Finance Club jointly organised a Session on Financial Literacy and Investor Awareness with the objective of empowering students with practical knowledge of financial planning, investor rights, safe investment practices, and cyber fraud prevention.

The session was delivered by Dr.RituBala, SEBI SMART Trainer, who brought over 10 years of experience in financial education and has conducted more than 1,000 Financial Literacy and Investor Awareness programmes. Through interactive discussions, real-life case studies, and practical examples, she guided students on important areas including savings, investments, mutual funds, investor rights, responsible investing, and protection against financial fraud.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 60 students, who gained valuable insights into making informed financial decisions and adopting safe and responsible investment practices. The programme contributed towards enhancing financial awareness and developing essential financial decision-making skills among students.
