The Women Empowerment Committee of GJIMT organized a special film screening of the inspirational movie English Vinglish as part of its continuous efforts to promote gender sensitivity, self-confidence, and personal development among students.

The objective of the screening was to sensitize students towards the importance of self-belief, dignity, lifelong learning, and empowerment of women in society. The film beautifully portrayed how confidence, education, and determination can transform lives, leaving a strong and lasting impact on the audience.

The event witnessed the active participation of 85 students and 8 faculty members, who attentively watched the film and reflected on its powerful message. To enhance engagement and learning, an interactive quiz session was conducted at the end of the screening, encouraging students to share their perspectives and takeaways from the movie.
